Amzone International is a leading industrial solutions provider specializing in engineered rigging, lifting systems, mechanical components, and custom industrial assemblies across the Middle East. With a legacy of serving high-performance sectors like Oil & Gas, Marine, Construction, and Manufacturing, Amzone is launching a dedicated Hose and Hydraulics division to address growing market demand.

We are seeking a highly capable, entrepreneurial professional to build, grow, and lead this new division.

Role Objective

The Sales Manager - Hose and Hydraulics will be responsible for launching, managing, and scaling Amzones new product vertical dedicated to hoses, hydraulic assemblies, and related components. The role combines business development, operational setup, product management, and team leadership to establish Amzone as a recognized player in this segment. The selected candidate will act as the driving force behind the commercial and operational success of this division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Division Setup and Operationalization
  • Define the scope, go-to-market plan, and operating model for the Hose & Hydraulics vertical.
  • Build Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across:
    • Sales processes
    • Product catalog and inventory
    • Assembly and crimping workflow
    • Quality assurance documentation
    • Testing and warranty procedures
  • Recommend tools, machines, and infrastructure including hose crimping units, hydro test benches, and inventory racking systems.
  • Sales Development & Customer Acquisition
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Earthmoving Equipment, Manufacturing, Construction, Marine) for hose applications.
  • Identify and engage clients in need of hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, flexible assemblies, and related services.
  • Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to conversion, including pricing proposals, client meetings, and order fulfillment.
  • Product Line & Technical Oversight
  • Define and continuously improve the product range including:
    • Hydraulic hoses (low to ultra-high pressure)
    • Industrial hoses (air, water, chemical, food-grade)
    • Fittings and adapters (steel, brass, stainless steel)
    • Service tools, loops, and kits
  • Leverage existing relationships with brands like Prysmian and other OEMs for cables and specialty components where crossover opportunities exist.
  • Pricing, Costing & Profitability
  • Build pricing strategies based on:
    • Cost and margin targets
    • Competitor benchmarking
    • Industry demand and lead time optimization
  • Maintain pricing intelligence on bulk orders, project-specific requirements, and long-term client contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehousing to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Liaise with quality and compliance teams to ensure all delivered products meet relevant safety and technical standards.
  • Develop and maintain a seamless documentation system for product traceability, testing, and after-sales support.
  • Team Building and Capability Development
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a support team including:
    • Sales Engineers
    • Hose Assembly Technicians
    • Warehouse/Dispatch Coordinators
  • Foster a performance-driven, technically competent team focused on customer experience and operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Certifications in hydraulic systems, industrial hose technology, or fluid mechanics are preferred.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in the hose and hydraulics industry, covering both sales and operational oversight.
  • Strong exposure to hose assemblies, crimping processes, testing protocols, and application engineering.
  • Demonstrated capability in launching new product lines or setting up business verticals from scratch.

Technical Skills

  • Product knowledge across hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, fittings, adaptors, crimping tools, mast raising lines, and associated applications.
  • Familiarity with technical standards (e.g., SAE, DIN, ISO) related to hose performance and safety.
  • Understanding of electric cable integration (Prysmian range) in hydraulic system applications is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and underwrite technical aspects of customer contracts and product applications.
