Role Purpose
The Sales Manager - Drilling Equipment & Services will be responsible for expanding Amzone's footprint in the drilling sector by promoting and selling a range of products and services tailored for onshore and offshore drilling operations. This includes wire ropes, lifting equipment, rigging solutions, and inspection services. The role requires a deep understanding of drilling operations, client needs, and the ability to provide customized solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and target potential clients in the drilling sector, including oil and gas companies, drilling contractors, and service providers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Product & Service Promotion
- Promote Amzone's range of products and services relevant to drilling operations, such as high-performance wire ropes, synthetic ropes, lifting and rigging equipment, inspection and testing services, and customized rigging solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on product selection and application.
- Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively.
- Market Analysis & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and adjust sales strategies based on market intelligence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and service execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in sales or project management are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on drilling equipment and services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to drilling operations.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling equipment and operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid UAE driving license.
