As we expand our presence in the cranes wires and spare parts domain, we are looking for a driven and experienced sales professional to develop and lead this business vertical with deep market insight, product knowledge, and commercial acumen.
Role Purpose
The Sales Manager - Cranes (Wires & Spare Parts) will be responsible for building and growing the wire rope and crane component business. This includes direct sales, channel partner development, and OEM/client engagement across the UAE and other target markets. The role holder is expected to establish Amzone as a trusted supplier of high-quality crane parts, enhance our market reach, and ensure seamless execution of sales and after-sales commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and tap into new markets and customer segments such as crane rental companies, marine service providers, EPC contractors, ports, logistics firms, and industrial plants.
- Map market potential across UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Oman, and create a focused sales plan with quarterly and annual targets.
- Develop a clear sales funnel by qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and converting inquiries into repeat business.
- Client & Account Management
- Establish, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their technical requirements and procurement processes.
- Conduct regular client visits, site inspections, and service consultations to identify needs and propose suitable product solutions.
- Act as a single point of contact for client concerns, product customization requests, and technical clarifications.
- Product and Technical Knowledge
- Maintain deep knowledge of crane operations, lifting safety protocols, and critical spare parts including but not limited to wire ropes, hoist ropes, sheaves, brake linings, load cells, bearings, and control systems.
- Educate clients on appropriate product usage, safety standards, and international certifications (DIN, ISO, BS EN).
- Collaborate with the technical team to assess compatibility, load requirements, and tailor solutions to client specifications.
- Supplier & Procurement Liaison
- Coordinate with OEMs, global manufacturers, and local vendors to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and just-in-time deliveries.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and lead times without compromising on product quality or certifications.
- Monitor global trends in crane technology and spare parts to proactively update the product catalog.
- Pricing, Quotations & Negotiation
- Prepare customized quotations, technical datasheets, and bid submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contract conditions, and service agreements while protecting company margins and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-up in coordination with accounts.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking
- Monitor competitor movements, pricing strategies, and market entry activities.
- Provide periodic market analysis to management with actionable insights on emerging demands and client expectations.
- Recommend adjustments to product mix, pricing models, or go-to-market approaches based on competitive benchmarking.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, quotes, and customer interactions using CRM systems or designated sales tools.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports capturing sales volume, conversion rates, revenue forecasts, and performance gaps.
- Analyze conversion metrics to optimize sales tactics and customer engagement strategies.
- Internal Coordination & Delivery Execution
- Work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and delivery team to ensure timely dispatch of orders and adherence to customer timelines.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and technical teams for inspection, certifications, or pre-delivery checks as per customer requirements.
- Ensure post-sales follow-up for customer feedback, warranty claims, and service needs.
