Job Description

The Sales Manager Cards is responsible for leading and expanding the credit and debit card sales portfolio through strategic planning, team leadership, and market engagement. This role involves driving acquisition targets, developing channel partnerships, and enhancing customer engagement to grow the cards business. Working in alignment with UAE banking regulations and consumer protection standards, the Sales Manager ensures all sales activities adhere to compliance and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly card acquisition targets.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to increase market share for credit and debit card products.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, merchants, and channel distributors.
  • Monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and generating reports for senior management.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines set by the UAE Central Bank and internal compliance policies.
  • Coordinating with product, risk, and operations teams to streamline onboarding and activation processes.
  • Training and mentoring team members to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Managing customer escalations, ensuring high levels of service quality and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 3 years in card sales management.
  • Strong understanding of UAE retail banking products, especially credit and debit cards.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, sales strategy execution, and achieving revenue goals.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards relevant to card issuance in the UAE.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
