Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for our Banquets & Outside Dining Catering (ODC) department in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow our sales efforts in the vibrant hospitality market of the UAE.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue for banquets and outside catering services
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts and event planners
  • Collaborate and have hands on attention to the culinary and operations teams to create innovative and competitive catering packages
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from initial client contact to event execution and post-event follow-up
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and food safety standards
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies for banquet and ODC services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on banquets and catering
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing sales team
  • Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing strategies specific to the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant sales tools
  • Advanced skills in budgeting, financial planning, and revenue management
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • In-depth understanding of food and beverage operations, event planning, and catering logistics
  • Familiarity with the UAE hospitality market, including local cultural norms and business practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Certifications in hospitality or event management are preferred
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
