Job Title: Sales Manager (Automotive Parts)

Reporting To: Country Business Director
Accountabilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Actively participate in the development of annual sales business plan, financial, man power budget & strategy in line with the overall department plans and objectives. Develop action plans to control budgets and overhead costs to ensure revenue targets are met along with achievement of net sales, and net profit and customer service indicators.
- Sales & Marketing: Ensure the approved sales plan is cascaded to the sales team, set individual targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize sales and profit targets. Actively participate in the preparation of annual marketing plans, initiatives & campaigns. Contribute in implementing brand marketing, loyalty programs/special discount programs in conjunction with both the internal and principal’s marketing team. Develop parts trade sales and distribution network.
- Operations: Ensure clear and strong flow of communication is maintained between the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders and the management of delivery function. Ensure customers’ receivables are in line with Group’s credit facility policy by following up on timely collection and due settlement. Actively participate in order planning and ordering in line with sales forecast to ensure it is aligned with assigned budget and sales forecast.
- Inventory Management: Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times complying with the given thresholds while balancing business demand against carrying cost for the purpose of maximizing profits. Ensures inventory is controlled and managed as per the required standards. Review and analyze stock discrepancies.
- Customer Service & Retention: In line with the Automotive division and Principal's guidelines, implement customer retention strategy by implementing new ideas to retain customers. Analyze sales satisfaction index (SSI) results, understand the root causes and ensure actions are in place, to proactively manage the customer expectations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Automotive product knowledge essential with an experience of min.
- Min 6 years as Sales Manager (UAE experienced with valid Driving license)
- Managing a sales team of+15 people. To coordinate in executing the Sales business tactics for development, marketing & sales .
- Creating & developing a long term stable sales plan strategy to improve sales results to meet the monthly/quarterly/annual budgeted targets.
