Currently, House of Shipping is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a client in Dubai.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to find potential clients and assess their needs.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in bunkering, shipping, and maritime sectors.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and industry events.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
    • Set clear sales targets and performance metrics.
    • Organize training and development programs to upskill team members.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
  • Sales Operations and Coordination:
    • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
    • Coordinate with Operations and Logistics to ensure service delivery.
    • Work with Finance on pricing strategies, profitability, and payment terms.
    • Monitor sales activities and prepare performance reports and forecasts.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
    • Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

    Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience in sales management, ideally in maritime, shipping, energy, or bunkering sectors.
    • Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
    • Experience working with international clients and stakeholders.
