Currently, House of Shipping is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a client in Dubai.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns.
- Conduct market research to find potential clients and assess their needs.
Client Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in bunkering, shipping, and maritime sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and industry events.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership and Development:- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics.
- Organize training and development programs to upskill team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
Sales Operations and Coordination:- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Coordinate with Operations and Logistics to ensure service delivery.
- Work with Finance on pricing strategies, profitability, and payment terms.
- Monitor sales activities and prepare performance reports and forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
- Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales management, ideally in maritime, shipping, energy, or bunkering sectors.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Experience working with international clients and stakeholders.
