Job Summary:

The Sales Manager - Dairy Ingredients will be responsible for driving market growth and achieving sales targets within designated territories. This includes identifying opportunities, providing technical expertise to customers and building strong sustainable relationships with customers and principals, all while contributing to strategic planning and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To sustain and grow the ingredients business in the designated markets .
  • Identify and generate a healthy pipeline in the assigned territory.
  • Provide inputs for finalizing the sales targets, budgets and plan activities to achieve the set objectives.
  • Negotiate and close the Sales.
  • Effective management of projects in close coordination with the technical team.
  • Increase market penetration.
  • Work with the Finance department on outstanding payments.
  • Generate periodical sales reports and effectively use the CRM system.
  • Ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives

Person Specifications:

Education: Preferably a Food Science, Dairy Science, Science (Chemistry) or related graduate.

Experience: 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.

Competencies:

  • Highly motivated and driven sales professional.
  • Strong persuasion and influencing abilities.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Proven ability to prospect and acquire new customers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of the food & beverage ingredients industry and its business operations in the Middle East.
