Athlocity is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth and manage strategic relationships with key retail accounts across the GCC region. This role is instrumental in executing structured account plans, leading cross-functional collaboration, and delivering on seasonal product strategies that align with the Athlocity brand vision. The ideal candidate is experienced in B2B sales, demand planning, and omni-channel retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales Performance
- Build and execute strategic business plans for top retail accounts in alignment with Athlocity's growth objectives.
- Drive monthly invoicing and ensure sales targets are consistently achieved through accurate forecasting and sell-in management.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts across GCC markets through structured relationship management.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from assortment planning to trade terms negotiation and sell-through performance tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless product delivery and aligned execution.
- Lead seasonal range presentations during pre-booking cycles, tailoring assortments to customer needs and brand positioning.
- Participate in pricing, promotions, and in-store execution planning to ensure a consistent consumer experience.
Strategic Planning & Insights
- Conduct regular business reviews with retail partners to evaluate sales performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze customer behavior and competitor dynamics to shape account-level strategies.
- Contribute to the development of annual business plans and partner-specific commercial roadmaps.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Set clear sales KPIs and performance targets in collaboration with team members.
- Actively mentor, guide, and support the sales team to cultivate a results-driven and growth-oriented environment.
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure targets are met.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- High school diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, and business development within the retail and sporting goods sectors.
- Proven expertise in crafting and executing strategic account plans that consistently drive significant business growth and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Skilled in managing retail partnerships, leveraging accurate forecasting and assortment planning to optimize sales performance and profitability.
- Experienced collaborator on cross-functional initiatives involving marketing, supply chain, and finance to align business objectives and deliver integrated solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of pre-booking cycles, sell-in presentations, and seasonal product planning to effectively support market launches and maximize revenue opportunities.
