Job Description

The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving the hotel s revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans targeted at corporate clients, event organizers, travel agencies, and individual guests. This position leads sales initiatives, builds and maintains strong client relationships, and collaborates closely with the marketing and operations teams to maximize room occupancy and event bookings. The ideal candidate combines hospitality industry expertise with strong sales acumen and leadership skills.

Develop, implement, and continuously refine sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives and market conditions.

Lead, coach, and inspire a sales team to achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.

Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and customer loyalty.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.

Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and reporting to senior leadership with clear, actionable insights.

Drive a customer-centric sales approach, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

Oversee negotiation and closing of complex contracts and agreements, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.

Champion continuous improvement within the sales function through training, feedback, and process optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales management.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.

Proficient in CRM and hotel sales management systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce).

Ability to analyze market data and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
