The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive revenue by actively selling event spaces, guest rooms, and F&B offerings.
  2. Grow the G&C, incentive, corporate, and exhibition group segments.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel unit management, key clients, and stakeholders.
  4. Design and implement sales strategies for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
  5. Participate in department budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  6. Liaise with government bodies and local authorities when required.
  7. Set sales targets for the hotel and develop plans to achieve them.
  8. Leverage local and international market contacts to generate business opportunities.
  9. Host and conduct site inspections and client visits.
  10. Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and tailored packages for clients.
  11. Coordinate and stage client functions and events, ensuring exceptional post-event follow-up.
  12. Promptly follow up on all outstanding proposals, RFPs, sales leads, and billing issues.
  13. Utilize systems such as Micros, FMC, Opera, and other hotel-related platforms.
  14. Analyze client and market data to generate actionable business insights.
  15. Attend networking events, host client functions, and conduct external sales calls.
  16. Monitor and engage with social media platforms for client interaction and brand visibility.
  17. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Director on menu creation and pricing.

The Profile

Sales Manager – Hospitality (MICE, Events & Group Sales)

Abu Dhabi | 4 or 5-Star Hotel experience | Driver’s License Required

We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead revenue-generating initiatives across event spaces, rooms, and F&B outlets. The ideal candidate will be an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Requirements:

  1. 3 years’ experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
  2. Relevant qualification in Sales / Marketing
  3. Strong background in Sales, Events, or Hotel Management
  4. Driven, target-focused, and self-motivated
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  6. Local and international market knowledge is a big plus
  7. Familiar with PMS systems
  8. Valid driver’s license
