Job Description
- Conduct thorough assessments of used cars to determine their value and condition, ensuring transparency for customers.
- Engage with potential buyers through effective communication, actively listening to their needs and preferences to tailor recommendations.
- Negotiate pricing and financing options with customers, demonstrating flexibility while maximizing profit margins for the dealership.
- Maintain an organized inventory of used vehicles, including regular updates on availability and condition for internal tracking and customer inquiries.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential buyers, utilizing social media, online platforms, and local events.
- Provide exemplary customer service throughout the buying process, ensuring a positive experience that encourages referrals and repeat business.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the dealership’s inventory and promotions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate smooth transactions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately completed and processed.
- Conduct follow-up communications with customers post-sale to gather feedback and foster lasting relationships for future business opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in a used car showroom environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, showcasing a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards, vehicle specifications, and market trends.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an asset for diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with customers.
- Highly self-motivated with a competitive spirit, capable of working independently and in a team setting.
- Physical ability to conduct vehicle inspections and demonstrate vehicles to customers, ensuring a hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications to manage leads and customer information.
