A leading company in the FMCG sector seeks an Account Manager for Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for account management, sales strategies, and maintaining client relationships. An ideal applicant will have a Bachelor's Degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
The job holder assumes complete account management responsibility, maintains effective client relationships, negotiates contracts, manages collections, and provides on-site support for the assigned Retail outlets.
Design and propose long- and short-term pricing and distribution strategies to the line manager. Ensure full development and implementation of these strategies. Also, monitor and maintain stock levels for the assigned Retail outlets.
Determine market requirements through feedback, surveys, and field analysis. Develop and implement solutions that meet market needs by introducing value-added services. Evaluate survey and market feedback to plan future training and support requirements.
Measure and track individual accounts and territories to maximize profitability and minimize debt. Recommend appropriate strategies. Plan and execute sales events and sponsorships for prospective and targeted clients within the territory to increase the user base and meet budgeted targets.
Develop and implement strategies to meet sales objectives using available resources. Focus on continuous process improvements and initiatives to achieve excellence in service standards, quality, and productivity, aligning with departmental objectives.
Establish monitoring mechanisms for systems and procedures to ensure effective submission of invoices and delivery notes. Regularly follow up on outstanding payments as per the terms and implement timely collection as per company policy.
Oversee a team of merchandisers and refillers. Conduct periodic site visits to ensure brands are available, properly displayed, and installed according to brand guidelines.
