An exceptional opportunity for a dynamic sales professional with experience in the events and exhibitions sector. We are seeking a candidate with proven sales and business development skills to join a global event organizer producing world-class exhibitions.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating revenue and expanding a strong network through proactive outreach to prospective clients. This role involves both the retention and growth of assigned accounts, as well as securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be adept at closing small, medium, and high-value deals across the energy value chain, engaging with clients ranging from SMEs to large blue-chip companies at senior management and director levels.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with new and existing clients to assess their needs, build demand, and sell exhibition packages (single and group) within the target market.
- Take full ownership of allocated clients, revenue targets, business development initiatives, and reporting.
- Drive consultative sales for event participation, advertising, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Proactively solicit new clients to exhibit in designated trade shows within an exclusive territory.
- Provide accurate sales activity tracking and revenue forecasting through detailed reporting.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production, marketing, and sponsorship, to ensure effective targeting of potential customers and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B conference delegate sales experience, ideally 1 year experience in tele-sales.
- Strong consultative sales skills and objection handling.
- Excellent English; other languages are a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-focused.
- Skilled in planning, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced with CRM, social media, and sales campaigns.
