Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed agreed core product sales targets to build a new customer base for FAB.
- Promote the sales of Core Products in the assigned area or work.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with customers.
- Assist in conducting promotional activities, meetings, and roadshows in the assigned area to achieve the budgeted sales volumes.
- Ensure submitted customer applications and documentation are complete and error-free.
- Follow up on document discrepancies approved as deferrals.
- Minimize errors, correct them, and re-submit if necessary.
- Provide sales MIS reports to line manager/Area Head regularly.
- Provide ongoing customer/market feedback to improve business.
- Provide Sales DSR to Sales Manager regularly.
- Ensure a high level of customer service during business proceedings.
- Adhere to the code of conduct and ethics, especially when authenticating KYC documents.
- Capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
- Perform duties of Team Leader in their absence if assigned.
- Recommend customer applications that are good credit risks and comply with FAB policies.
- Demonstrate good convincing and negotiating skills, considering the complexity of relevant products.
- Stay aware of competition and suggest product improvements.
- Maintain effective relationships with all branches and internal departments.
- Handle routine problems and complaints professionally, escalating only significant issues.
- Identify fraudulent activities and unethical incidents promptly, reporting concerns to the Line Manager.
- Avoid arguing with customers and refrain from making commitments.
- Maintain effective relationships with teammates and supervisors.
- Ensure accurate sharing of product information with customers.
- Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and Service Standards of the bank.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or preferably a university degree.
- Desirable to have a sales diploma or certification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in selling banking products in a financial institution.
