Job description

Achieve the assigned portfolio's revenue target while supporting the overall country plan and commercial targets by ensuring that the line of business’s position in the market is protected. Source new business and maintain existing business, while planning, managing, and implementing sales & marketing activities.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan

  • Recommend and develop promotional action plans focused on meeting the line of business’s principal’s revenue targets within the account portfolio.
  • Participate in planning sessions by providing constructive feedback, customer trends, and insights to identify new opportunities and challenges, ensuring the product range, pricing, promotion plans, and sales strategies are well suited to the marketplace.

Deploy

  • Review and monitor sales strategies in the territory, providing recommendations to ensure the line of business is competitively positioned and remains the supplier of choice for customers.
  • Coordinate the distribution of quality marketing and promotional collateral and materials.

Lead

  • Work closely with supporting sales teams and business units to ensure all business opportunities are exploited effectively.
  • Gather and analyze competitor intelligence and market trends with actionable data to support management in refining sales and business strategies, maintaining a leading market position.

Execute

  • Achieve or exceed revenue and passenger targets within the area of work to support business growth objectives.
  • Execute and monitor incentive programs with travel trade and corporate clients within established guidelines to meet revenue targets.
  • Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data, providing feedback and recommendations to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

Commercial / Sales: 5+ Years

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :

Experience : Sales experience in the Travel or Airline Industry, including at least 5 years in outdoor sales and marketing roles. Knowledge of travel trade distribution is essential, with familiarity with Sabre GDS advantageous. Strong customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills are required. Must be adaptable, a team player, and able to work under pressure. Valid UAE Driver’s License required. Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, with native proficiency in Chinese.
