Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Meet the set target or budget guidelines and increase sales.
  2. Ensure compliance with Company’s policy / procedure and standards.
  3. Prepare and plan visits to customers and submit visit reports.
  4. Provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing based on the metal price, while striving for maximum profit margin.
  5. Work with the Architectural Sales team to understand client needs and recommend new products.
  6. Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on the new product range.
  7. Collaborate with the Sales Coordinators to increase their productivity.
  8. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  9. Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries via emails, telephone, and personal visits. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products and services, maximizing customer potential in designated regions.
  10. Organize meetings with clients with the support of the Senior Sales Manager / Commercial Director to finalize deals.
  11. Identify commercial risks.
  12. Introduce new customers and retain existing ones with good service and support through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, liaising with internal order-processing staff to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction from pre to post phases of services.
  13. Drive a culture of excellence.
  14. Promote innovative ways to drive sales.
  15. Exercise utmost discretion in dealing with matters of sensitive and confidential nature.
  16. Educate customers on the best possible products and services the company provides.
  17. Constantly improve and update knowledge, especially about product range, features, general extrusions industry, technical developments, market trends, selling techniques, and customer handling skills that enhance performance considerably.
  18. Carry out, monitor, and report on market, competitor activities, and customer surveys, providing relevant reports and information to management.
  19. Utilize CRM extensively for all sales activities.
  20. Achieve enhanced DSO and reduce customer overdues.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. 3 plus years of experience preferred in the relevant industry (Aluminium Extrusions).
  2. Experience as a Sales Executive with relevant aluminium components.
