Job Description
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Make sure the sales plan & model set for Abu Dhabi territory is executed with the support of management
- Contact leads provided and generate new ones, respond to client meeting requests, seek new market opportunities
- Share inquiries & collaborate with all departments in AUH territory
- Maintain and develop a sustainable relation with new and existing clients
- Attend exhibitions and networking events
- Utilizing all sales tools and channels provided by our company
- Contribute to the sales success by working closely with project management department to assure client expectations are shared accurately
- Work closely with operations and creative team to make sure client expectations are met
- Prepare daily and weekly reports as per business and management need
- Work collectively with internal business units during execution phases
- Achieve annual KPI s set for the role
- Other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
- Office based job, flexibility with longer working hours during project planning and execution
- Abu Dhabi based job though required to travel internationally when project / work demands
- Flexibility and availability to work outside working hours during projects build up and emergencies or client requirement
Formal Education
- University degree relating to event management, marketing, business management with commercial management knowledge (preferable) Additionally achievements certificates and qualifications will be an advantage
- Fluent in both Arabic and English is mandatory, any additional languages is an advantage
Work Experience
- 2 5 years of client servicing, sales and project management experience within the events, marketing, festivals and exhibition industry
- Team player, accountability for results, organizational sophistication and excellent in sales pitches, data and lead collection, market research
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office.
- Ability to train and adapt quickly to company provided system tools
- Trained to deal with clients on daily basis, excellent communication skills
