Job description

Scarlett Poppies is a fast-growing brand of ready-to-wear and resort wear that is designed and crafted by artisans who are dedicated to creating eternal styles. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Dubai and report to the Sales Manager.

As a Sales Executive at Scarlett Poppies, your responsibilities will be coordinating wholesale sales efforts, both domestically and internationally, extending to maintaining our Dubai showroom & sample collections, and exploring new market opportunities. This role may require travel to attend trade shows and other events. Excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of fashion products are essential for success in this role.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are fluent in English, and experience in wholesale is a must. The ability to multitask and work independently is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and managing wholesale sales efforts both domestically and internationally
  • Exhibiting at trade shows and other events as required
  • Maintaining and building relationships with existing agents and clients
  • Identifying and securing new wholesale accounts in untapped territories
  • Managing all agents and distributors and identifying new areas that can be attained
  • Assisting with the creation of sales materials and product presentations
  • Managing and updating the company's CRM system
  • Maintaining, creating and driving informative sales reports and analysis
  • Monitoring market trends and analyzing sales data
  • Assisting with the creation of budgets and sales forecasts
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of sales strategies
  • EDI and shipping/warehouse experience highly desirable
  • Liaise with logistics and supply chain departments to ensure timely delivery of products to international clients
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to provide informed support to the sales team

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English
  • Strong understanding and passion for the fashion industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Bachelor's degree in fashion, business, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in wholesale sales (preferred)
  • International travel experience (preferred)
  • Current passport with minimum 18 months validity to be able to get visas for immediate business trips
