Job Overview
The Sales Representative for Pet HQ is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting pet food products to retailers, pet stores, veterinary clinics & groomers. This role involves building strong relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying sales opportunities, and educating customers on the benefits of Pet HQ products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives and targets.
- Track sales progress, client interactions, and results, and report regularly to the Head of Pet HQ.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell related products.
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential customers, including pet stores, veterinary clinics and breeders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Present, promote, and sell pet food products based on customer needs and preferences.
Product Knowledge:
- Become an expert on the company’s pet food products, including ingredients, nutritional benefits, and differentiators.
- Educate customers on the importance of pet nutrition and how the company’s products meet specific dietary needs for different pets.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments.
Customer Support & After-Sales:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and complaints about the products.
- Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Assist in organizing promotional events such as in-store demonstrations, displays, and other instore marketing initiatives.
- Distribute marketing materials, such as brochures and samples, to help drive interest in products.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about the latest pet food trends, market conditions, and competitor products.
- Gather feedback from customers to help the company improve or expand its product lines.

Requirements
- Must have a current UAE Drivers License.
- Proven Sales experience , preferably in the pet supplies industry a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Knowledge of pet supplies market trends and products.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and results-driven.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; proficiency in other data analysis tools and software is a plus.
