Job Description

  1. Perform ‘Business Development’ activities through cold calling, visiting the clients. Generate business opportunities for the organization and bring new leads and contracts.
  2. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to Head – Green Arabia.
  3. Act as a good ambassador of the company, projecting a positive image and collecting market developments and competitor’s activities.
  4. Achieve set sales objectives and targets for the recyclable's contracts business in the allotted territory.
  5. Interface with clients, providing a clear interpretation of their requirements from the enquiry onset and ensure good working relationship.
  6. Handle contractual details of new projects, carefully study the terms & conditions, and recommend changes/amendments.
  7. Conduct pre-sales activities to gain understanding of the customer’s needs and prepare for meetings.
  8. Gather appropriate marketing materials and pricing plans, identifying customer needs and interests to determine the best sales strategy.
  9. Ensure our service meets customer needs by demonstrating pricing and competition. Effectively communicate price and service strategies to customers.
  10. Negotiate and close sales by effectively communicating alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Prepare & deliver complex sales proposals.
  11. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal service & support teams and external suppliers to ensure that new contracts deliver on both external & internal targets.
  12. Prepare monthly sales reports on personal performance for the business unit head. Make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options in coordination with the group’s trading division.

General

  1. Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Green Arabia Function to fulfill all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality, cost-effective service to customers.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across Green Arabia Function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude.
  3. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Qualification, Knowledge, Experience
    1. Academic Qualification: Any graduate from an accredited university or college.
    2. Experience: Total 3+ years of experience in waste management service in the UAE/Middle East.
  2. Technical Requirements
    1. Expertise in the area of commercial sales, business development & marketing with proven client contract and relationship management abilities, especially with large key accounts.
    2. Excellent data interpretation skills and good understanding of financial reporting.
    3. Knowledge of the market dynamics of the waste management industry.
    4. Computer literate and a good command of the English language.
