The Sales Executive – Retail will focus on expanding brand visibility and distribution across competitor retail outlets in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include trade audits, promotional execution, and client relationship building. Ideal candidates will have FMCG sales experience, strong commercial acumen, and a UAE driver’s license. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify distribution gaps for priority brands within competitor retail stores.
  • Conduct regular audits to track shelf space, visibility, and competitor pricing.
  • Monitor and report on parallel imports through product code tracking.
  • Develop and execute promotional calendars for key brands.
  • Ensure timely activation and in-store execution of campaigns.
  • Engage with marketing and brand teams to enhance visibility in competitor outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with competitor retail customers.
  • Encourage competitor retailers to stock products by offering structured incentives.
  • Provide actionable reports and insights to management based on market observations.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • % of competitor stores audited monthly.
  • Timely and effective execution of promotional plans.
  • Shelf share percentage of managed brands vs. competitors.
  • Quality of reporting and code tracking accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3–4 years of experience in Sales or Merchandising (FMCG industry preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, present findings, and execute strategy effectively.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong planning and execution capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with digital tools and reporting systems.
