Job Title: Sales Engineer – Pumps
Department: Spare Parts Department
Main Job Scope:
Responsible for selling pump products and meeting customer needs through servicing existing accounts, acquiring new clients, and executing sales plans. This role focuses on expanding sales for the assigned product and territory through a proactive, technical, and relationship-driven approach.
Core & Competitive Abilities
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field)
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the local UAE market
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
- Valid UAE driving license
- Strong understanding of pump products and related solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate customer needs and propose effective technical solutions

Main Performance Areas & Responsibilities
- Identify and target new sales opportunities in assigned regions or markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Present technical solutions effectively through tailored presentations
- Understand the technical features and capabilities of SKM pump products
- Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities
- Collaborate with the Application team to offer customized solutions
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare accurate proposals, tenders, and quotations
- Negotiate terms and close contracts in compliance with internal policies
- Act as the go-to person for technical clarifications and issue resolution
- Coordinate internally for smooth delivery and service fulfillment
- Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to gather client needs
- Lead sales presentations and training for clients and internal staff
- Maintain thorough records of sales activities, market data, and interactions
- Regularly report on sales progress, forecasts, and opportunities
- Share customer feedback and market insights with management
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies
- Identify and explore new markets and segments for business growth
