We are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer for our client to be based out of their Dubai/Abu Dhabi office.
Purpose

Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business. Develops and executes account plans with coaching support. Achieves sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment, or channel partners.

Responsibilities
  1. Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business.
  2. Develops and executes account plans for top prospects and conducts face-to-face sales calls. Builds positive customer relationships to identify needs, business models, and buying processes.
  3. Uses understanding of customer needs to identify and offer solutions. Gains agreement on the value proposition and conducts negotiations according to company guidelines, including payment terms.
  4. Assists with collection of accounts receivables and maintains acceptable levels of past due accounts. Collaborates with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve delinquent payments.
  5. Drives sales to meet targets and ensures customer satisfaction. Maintains and strengthens customer relationships for future sales and repeat business.
  6. Responds promptly to customer concerns. Utilizes the Sales Process, CRM, and other tools to support sales and customer satisfaction.
  7. Reports activity via the CRM system as directed by management. Maintains sales forecasts and tracks progress against targets.
  8. Works with internal stakeholders and customers to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations.
Skills
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar industry or in Powergen.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background.
  • UAE Driving license is preferable. Knowledge of the UAE market is a plus.
  • Professional level English; additional languages such as Arabic are preferred.
