Sales Engineer - Marine

The Sales Engineer - Marine is responsible for driving sales and providing technical support for marine-related products and solutions, serving clients across shipbuilding, offshore, and maritime operations. This role combines engineering knowledge with commercial acumen to deliver customized proposals, conduct technical consultations, and build strong client relationships in alignment with the UAE maritime market. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in marine systems and have a proven track record in solution-based selling.

Responsibilities:

1. Identifying business opportunities and generating sales leads within the marine and offshore industry sector.
2. Preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
3. Conducting site visits and consultations to assess customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations.
4. Liaising with engineering and product teams to customize solutions based on client specifications.
5. Managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to order closure and after-sales support.
6. Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer feedback using CRM tools.
7. Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events in the UAE.
8. Ensuring compliance with UAE maritime regulations and industry best practices in all sales proposals.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales within the marine or offshore industry.
3. In-depth understanding of marine systems, equipment, and operational requirements.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
5. Proficiency in using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
6. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and ability to work independently.
7. Knowledge of UAE marine industry standards, safety requirements, and port authorities regulations.
