Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with expertise in the fire safety and life safety sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, delivering technical consultations, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction through effective project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the fire safety and life safety sectors
  • Conduct client meetings to understand requirements, deliver presentations, and offer technical consultations
  • Analyze client needs to customize solutions by selecting suitable products and services
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts
  • Ensure timely renewal of AMCs and support collection activities as needed
  • Follow up on conversions from free maintenance to AMC
  • Understand modernization and repair processes
  • Foster long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Provide post-sales support and training
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, proposals, and projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and regulatory updates to guide clients effectively


Requirements

  • BSc. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or technical engineering within the fire and life safety industry
  • In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, life safety equipment, and building codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software for reviewing schematics
  • Familiarity with installation and maintenance of fire alarm and suppression systems
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capable of working independently and within a team
  • CFPS or PMP certification is a plus
