Job description

The Sales Engineer – Elevators and Moving Systems will report to the Sales Manager and is responsible for meeting individual sales targets, maintaining profit margins, and achieving KPIs. This role involves reviewing tenders, selecting suitable products, preparing and following up on quotations, participating in technical and commercial meetings, and finalizing orders. The Sales Engineer will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and maintain strong relationships to foster ongoing business development.

Responsibilities :

  • Achieve individual sales targets and maintain profit margins and KPIs
  • Review tenders, identify deviations, and select suitable products
  • Prepare estimations and send quotations to customers
  • Follow up on quotations and attend technical / commercial meetings with clients
  • Negotiate and finalize orders
  • Submit technical submittals and shop drawings for consultant approval
  • Follow up for approvals, advance payments, and attend site meetings
  • Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Coordinate with factory and internal departments on sales-related issues
  • Place orders to factory after approvals and advance payment
  • Coordinate with suppliers for sales-related activities and find new suppliers
  • Increase customer base and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Transfer files to Installation Department and provide ongoing support
  • Develop knowledge of international standards and local regulations
  • Travel frequently across all emirates as required

Requirements

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Fluent in English with excellent grammar and correspondence skills
  • Arabic speaking is a plus
  • UAE driving license and own car (vehicle allowance provided)
  • Professional, organized, punctual, and attentive to detail
  • Discreet, confident, calm, and positive demeanor
  • Strong networking and continuous improvement mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
