What you will do

The Sales Engineer Controls Systems is a key role reporting directly to the Sales Manager C&S. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will focus on project sales and installation solutions, growing our market share with new business customers in the UAE and driving the growth of business for the Install division segment for Building Technology and Solutions, with particular focus on the Controls Systems portfolio.

As a member of the self-driven team, you will work within an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and apply your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it

As a Sales Engineer:

  • You will possess an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among BMS solutions and work closely with customers to meet their expectations and close new opportunities.
  • You will qualify and collaborate with our internal presales expertise to develop the right techno-commercial solutions for projects with customers.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers and direct tenders.
  • Demonstrate expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls leveraging market understanding, sales strategies, products, and services.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and identify ways to anticipate their needs.
  • Be determined and consistent in your approach to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously through effective planning and time management skills.
  • Conduct extensive stakeholder mapping for strategic accounts to enable business growth within the JCI installed base and expand our presence in these accounts.
  • Adhere strictly to company processes, compliance, and policies, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach while executing professional responsibilities.

What we look for

Required

  • University Degree (Bachelors) in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience focused on selling installation solutions for Controls business within the UAE region.
  • Customer-focused with an ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Organizational skills and the ability for multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Determined, results-oriented, self-driven with maturity and high team spirit as essential qualities to succeed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
