Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team and drive the sales of industrial automation products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing tailored solutions to clients in various industries such as manufacturing, process control, and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automation sector.
  • Promote and sell a range of automation products (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, control panels, SCADA systems, etc.).
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to clients.
  • Analyze client needs and recommend suitable automation solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and market trends in automation.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Experience : 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the automation industry.
  • Technical Skills : Knowledge of automation products such as Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.
  • Understanding of industrial control systems and applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Soft Skills : Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, customer-focused attitude, good presentation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements : Valid UAE driving license (if applicable), willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Previous experience in B2B technical sales.
  • Familiarity with industrial sectors such as oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities.
  • Fluency in English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil.
