About The Role:

We are looking for a Solutions / Sales Engineer who is accustomed to solving customer’s most complex problems and closing large deals. In this role, you will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business.

As a Time Doctor Solutions Engineer, you must share our passion for reinventing workforce analytics and performance, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be flexible and willing to jump in and get things done. You should be comfortable interacting with both executives and technical audiences.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Crafting and delivering sales presentations and demonstrations that show how Time Doctor can address customer needs and deliver value.
  2. Scoping and executing proof of concept evaluations, including gathering technical requirements, defining success criteria, guiding installation, and conducting workshops and training.
  3. Presenting Time Doctor technology and vision to prospects and customers at all levels.
  4. Collaborating with Account Executives to identify challenges related to software adoption and analytics.
  5. Demonstrating and communicating the value of Time Doctor technology throughout the sales cycle.
  6. Collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams to gather feedback and address deal-blocking issues.
  7. Addressing technical questions regarding Time Doctor’s technology, security, and data privacy.
  8. Gathering and validating technical requirements for a smooth handoff to implementation teams.
  9. Responding to RFI/RFP/security documentation requests.
  10. Maintaining knowledge of competitive technologies and positioning Time Doctor accordingly.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role selling to medium and large enterprises, including 3+ years in pre-sales.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies: APIs, integrations, data formats (JSON/CSV), authentication (OAuth, SAML).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both technical and business-facing.
  • Consultative, value-first approach to solutions and customer engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with tools like Hubspot, Big Query, Looker, Qlik, or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills adaptable to both executives and technical buyers.
  • Willingness to travel for events or onsite customer implementations.

Note: This is a global role with a distributed team. Depending on your location, we offer full-time employment or a contract.
