Position and Job title: Sales Engineer

Salary and Compensation: 5,000-7,000 AED monthly + Bonus/commission

Products Range: Industrial weighing scales, industrial weighing systems, measuring instruments, instrumentation, process control, industrial automation, and material handling equipment.

Contract Type:Full-time

Location: Dubai / Sharjah UAE

  • Hybrid (Onsite and Remote) /Flexible Location: Option available for Seniors, and highly skilled & experienced applicants.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales inquiries. This pivotal role requires a blend of expertise in outdoor and inside sales, ensuring a seamless and professional experience throughout our sales process.

Main Areas of Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and effectively to inbound sales inquiries.
  • Conduct thorough inside and outside sales activities from initial contact to deal closure.

Collaborative Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Development team to enhance existing products and develop new solutions.
  • Support Business Development efforts by contributing to outbound sales initiatives, assisting in lead generation, and managing client relationships effectively.

Scope of Work:

  1. Sales Inquiry:
    • Receive inquiries via phone, email, and website chat.
    • Guide customers in product selection based on technical and commercial factors.
  2. Quotation and Proposal:
    • Prepare and dispatch quotations or Proforma Invoices (PI).
    • Facilitate technical and commercial discussions.
  3. Sales Process Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the sales coordinator and operations team to track deliveries.
    • Ensure high-quality customer service throughout the sales process.
  4. Customer Engagement and Closure:
    • Regular follow-ups with customers to finalize sales.
    • Schedule and conduct customer visits.
  5. Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and reports.
  6. Market Research:
    • Identify potential sales opportunities and understand customer needs through market research.
  7. Proactive Sales Initiatives:
    • Engage in active sales prospecting via cold calls, meetings, networking, and collaboration with the marketing team.
    • Leverage social media and digital marketing for new sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background
    • Degree in Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
    • University or Diploma degree, attested by UAE.
  2. Sales Experience
    • Minimum 2 years in frontline sales (front-line), specializing in related products.
    • Proven negotiation and closing skills.
    • Experience certificates are required.
  3. Computer Skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Skilled in creating technical and commercial quotations, pricing, and cost calculations.
  4. Language Skills
    • Fluent in English with a clear accent.
  5. Product Knowledge and Learning Ability
    • Quick to understand our products and services.
    • Awareness of mechatronics products.
  6. Personal Attributes
    • Highly disciplined and organized.
    • Fast learner, confident, detail-oriented, and physically fit.
  7. Research and Communication Skills
    • Effective online search capabilities.
    • Excellent in business communication.

Qualifications as advantage+

  • Holding a UAE driving license
  • Experience in industrial weighing scales
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus+
  • Technical sales experience
  • Diploma/Unversity related to mechatronics/instrumentation & process control/ automation
  • Arabic speaker
