Sales Engineer

The Client:

Is a leading Indian manufacturer of high-quality mechanical seals and sealing solutions for the global process industry. Committed to innovation and continuous improvement, they design, manufacture, and test world-class products that ensure reliability and performance. Their extensive range includes Mechanical Seals, Seal Support Systems, Rotary Joints, Bearing Isolators, and serving industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Power Generation, and beyond.

Responsibilities:

1. Build new customers by placing cold calls to relevant customers (OEMs/Consultants/End Users) and schedule appointments with them. Represent our company and product line i.e. Centrifugal Pumps, Mechanical Seals and Seal Support Systems.
2. Contact our MFG unit and Export department to complete the onboarding process of our customer, generally known as “Vendor Registration”.
3. Explain our customer technically by preparing technical reports, charts, and presentations about our product line at the customer's site. Maintain excellent relations with our customers to better understand their requirements and maintain email conversations with them.
4. Grant approvals from customers by submitting relevant documents required.
5. Participate in tenders, trade exhibitions, and technical seminars/webinars across the region.
6. Prepare different types of standard reports related to visits, sales, and collections required by management. Maintain commercial contact with customers for collections and to clear bad debts.
7. Gather feedback from engineering teams at customer’s site for better product improvements and latest trends.
8. Map competitors with high ethics.

Qualifications:

1. UAE Experience, or Middle East
2. Able to Travel
3. 1-2 years of experience
4. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
