Job title: Sales Coordinator UAE

Location: Dubai

About the role

The Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Sales Director MEA is responsible for managing and developing the Fragrance business activities in the UAE for Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés.

The Sales Coordinator will develop business activities with local retailers, lead the performance of boutiques, department stores and independent retailers and monitor the UAE local market operations while contributing with the team to strategic commercial development.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Assist in the implementation of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate with local sales representatives to track and optimize sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyze sell-in and sell-out data to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Ensure product availability and proper stock management in key locations.
  • Support in negotiating and managing relationships with retailers and distributors.

Marketing:

  • Implement marketing actions (launches, animations, incentives) on POS within deadlines in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
  • Organize and oversee brand activations, animations, and podium events.
  • Ensure Trade and Marketing plan is applied properly.

Merchandising:

  • Improve brand's visibility and presence through a detailed retail Network Plan.
  • Ensure the brands guidelines are applied.

Retail Management:

  • Oversee a team of Beauty Advisors and Supervisor across key retail locations.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of stand-alone boutiques and department stores.
  • Negotiate conditions with retailers (exposure and locations on floor plans).

Training/Motivation:

  • Conduct product training sessions for Beauty Advisors and sales teams.
  • Ensure in-store teams are well-informed about product benefits, brand story, and selling techniques.
  • Maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail partners to enhance brand positioning.

Forecast:

  • Provide sales (sell-in and sell-out) and stock analysis to optimize forecasting and retail needs.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports by client, location, and brand.
  • Track and analyze competitor initiatives and market trends.

Role - Specific Skills:

  • Excellent organization, analytical and inter-personal skills.
  • Ready to work in a polyvalent, fast-growing, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to be in the market frequently (50%).
  • Language Spoken: English, French is a plus.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Master’s degree: Business School or equivalent.
  • Min 3 years prior experience in sales (perfumes and cosmetics a plus).
