Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator supports the Modern Trade team by ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient execution of key sales operations and reporting. This role plays a pivotal part in accelerating team performance through data-driven insights, commercial documentation, and administrative coordination. The Sales Coordinator acts as a central point between internal teams and external customers to facilitate smooth, compliant, and customer-focused processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all daily reporting is sent to the Sales Team on time. Deliver accurate sales reports such as daily performance by Sales Executives and Supervisors (NSR/Volume), monthly channel review packs, and pack/brand-wise performance summaries.
  • Create and update customer records in the system in line with business approvals and ensure timely deactivation/removal when required.
  • Manage the end-to-end CDE process: raise BPMs for placement/removal, generate equipment codes, and ensure system accuracy.
  • Ensure critical agreements are completed, drafted, and signed. Draft contracts, commercial proposals, and pricing letters; secure approvals and maintain physical archives of all signed agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships. Liaise effectively with Supervisors, Business Developers, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure seamless task completion.
  • Seek opportunities for professional development to improve sales effectiveness. Engage in learning activities and proactively identify improvements to enhance reporting and coordination efficiency.
  • Provide actionable monthly updates for Supervisors.
  • Analyze PJP compliance by Sales Executives.
  • Prepare vendor forms, price increase letters, and assist in offer creation.
  • Support special projects, reviews, and audits as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the FMCG or soft drinks industry in a Sales Coordinator or similar role, with a strong understanding of sales and distribution operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint, SAP, and Power BI is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Skilled in influencing and negotiating with internal teams to ensure timely task completion.
  • Proactive, analytical, and able to deliver results under pressure.
