Job Description

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Sales and Marketing and the sales team. On occasions, the Sales Coordinator will also provide support to other departments as requested.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters related to IHG Properties and all other sales and personnel matters.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the DOSM and backup support to the sales team, including correspondence and diary management.
  • Provide administrative cover in the absence of the Executive Secretary due to leave or sickness.
  • Establish and maintain an effective filing system for the sales department, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of Opera S&C standards within the Sales Department after training, including handling group and banqueting requests and generating necessary documentation.
  • Enhance department efficiency through improved administrative systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and month-end activity reports.
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma with 6 months experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area.

OR

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
