Job description

· Responsible for clarifying sales queries and ensuring on-time submission of quotes in consultation and coordination with the sales team.

2. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Graduate with 3-4 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably from the construction or plastic piping industry.
  • Knowledge of UAE contractors and consultants is preferable.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Good communication and networking skills.
3. Job Profile
  • Assist the sales team in improving productivity by contacting customers, filing relevant documents, and communicating necessary information.
  • Arrange up-to-date support materials for the sales team.
  • Handle customer queries, inform customers about material availability and tentative lead times for delivery.
  • Record all sales queries and respond within the designated lead-time.
  • Prepare and send sales quotations based on the queries and lead-times.
  • Follow up on sent quotations, record customer interactions, and generate inquiries with a minimum conversion rate of 50%.
  • Validate quotes before sending.
  • Prepare proforma invoices upon customer approval, get them approved, and send to customers.
  • Receive LPOs, collect documents as per company credit policies, and follow up on payments, cheques, etc.
  • Release LPOs for order processing according to scheduled commitments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for sales records, reports, and financial information sharing with the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare related reports and update the sales team and management.
  • Process sales orders and obtain approval from the credit control team.
  • Coordinate with planning and operations teams for delivery schedules and communicate with customers.
  • Follow up with customers for cheque copies prior to delivery.
  • Prepare picklists and coordinate deliveries.
  • Coordinate with customers, sales personnel, and internal teams for samples, submittals, etc.
