The role holder will oversee sales and handle day-to-day technical and project coordination duties to ensure the successful fulfillment of dormakaba direct contracting projects, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality parameters. The individual will manage all administrative aspects of technical coordination from project initiation to completion.

A job that matters: your tasks

Sales

  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
  • Form new and maintain existing relationships with companies by visiting them in person, maintaining phone contact, and addressing issues or problems when they occur.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
  • Use consultative selling methods and skills to understand customers needs and meet them by submitting relevant offers.
  • Manage and develop assigned requests for orders in accordance with dormakaba pricing standards.
  • Follow regional and country sales strategies and apply innovative methods to meet individual and/or collective sales targets, ensuring a balanced product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with other sales and supporting functions to ensure high-quality service to customers and consistent offer execution according to standards.
  • Attend sales team meetings and actively share information about sales opportunities, customer needs, interests, potential for offering new products and services, competitors activities, and other market research results.
  • Regularly report activities to immediate managers (through CRM or other tools) on customer visits and follow-ups, sales pipelines, status of sales deals, goals, obstacles, etc.
  • Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Prepare quotes on SAP, follow up internally to ensure proper ordering, and deliver based on customer standards and needs.

Technical Coordination

  • Assess CAD drawings and formulate technical proposals and submissions during project implementation or pre-sales stages to offer technical support to respective teams.
  • Assist projects with technical inquiries from the project team, showcasing product installation demonstrations, and conducting training sessions for customers and end users.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical aid during pre-sales discussions, site gatherings, and project execution, facilitating communication between factories, Sales, Product Marketing Management teams, and customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the technical facets of the product and customized customer requirements.

Project Coordination

  • Execute tasks delegated by the Project Manager (PM) concerning project implementation, including:
    • Transition responsibilities from third-party subcontractors and carry out handovers to clients.
    • Conduct site visits to address issues highlighted by the PM.
    • Collaborate with Customer Service to monitor delivery progress.
    • Administer handover documentation, snag listings, and warranty paperwork by coordinating with the dormakaba service team.
    • Maintain project tracking and provide updates to the Project Manager.

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Possesses 3-5 years of technical experience within the realm of access solutions.

  • Conducts on-site visits to inspect issues raised by the Project Manager.
