Overview
The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving vehicle sales, maximizing dealership revenue, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing personalized vehicle recommendations, and guiding customers through the sales process to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with potential customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information about available vehicles, features, and options, tailoring solutions to customer requirements.
- Utilize persuasive selling techniques to close deals and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing accurate information about vehicles, pricing, financing options, and promotions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and generate referrals.
- Organize the seamless handover of vehicles in compliance with distributor policies.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, features, and specifications of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
- Coordinate and conduct test drives to showcase vehicle performance and features.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, including negotiation, financing discussions, and completing paperwork.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as finance and insurance, to ensure a smooth and seamless sales experience.
- Efficiently handle administrative tasks and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory.
- Actively seek out potential customers through referrals, online platforms, and networking events.
- Conduct market research to identify target segments, understand customer preferences, and stay informed about competitor activities.
- Utilize insights from market research to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously enhance skills through training programs, workshops, and self-study to stay updated on automotive advancements, sales techniques, and dealership policies.
- Uphold company values in all business practices, ensuring compliance with distributor policies and brand standards.
- Use sound judgment in decision-making and maintain professionalism in all customer and team interactions.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automotive sales.
- Proven track record as a sales Consultant or similar role within the automotive industry.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Sales certifications or recognized motor industry qualifications preferred.
