Job description

Role Purpose

To offer exceptional customer service whilst maximising all sales opportunities.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Deliver excellent customer service
  2. Follow the sales process to maximise sales
  3. Understand features and benefits of all Travelex product lines
  4. Use every opportunity to upsell and cross-sell
  5. Recognize warning signs of questionable transactions and mitigate possible effects of the sale
  6. Adhere to promotional marketing offers
  7. Manage till stocks
  8. Achieve individual KPIs/targets
  9. Fully investigate over and shorts (differences) and report
  10. Adhere to company and location policies and procedures including Audit, Risk, Health & Safety, Security, and customer service requirements
  11. Ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements
  12. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and presentation of stores
  13. Contribute to the success of the team
  14. Complete training within required timelines
Role-specific Experience and Skills
  • Retail cash handling and/or banking experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good numerical ability
  • Good knowledge of product services and procedures
  • Experience working with computer systems
