Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth in the payment gateway/banking sector. This role involves acquiring new clients, building strategic relationships, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchant acquiring, digital payments, and financial services with a strong ability to generate leads and close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:
   • Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchants, banks, and businesses for payment gateway solutions.
   • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in digital payments, POS, and e-commerce solutions.
   • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
   • Negotiate and close high-value deals with key stakeholders, including merchants and financial institutions.
   • Work closely with product and tech teams to customize solutions as per client needs.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and offering solutions.
   • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with key clients to optimize service usage.
   • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional banking and payment products.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration:
   • Develop partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, and e-commerce platforms.
   • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, and product development) to enhance customer experience.
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management in the payment gateway, banking, fintech, or financial services industry.
3. Strong knowledge of digital payments, UPI, credit/debit card processing, merchant onboarding, and payment solutions.
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business portfolios.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with merchants, banks, and corporate clients.
7. Experience with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with POS, QR payments, e-commerce payment solutions.
2. Strong network within banks, NBFCs, fintech startups, and merchants.
3. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to payments and banking.
