Job summary

A leading solar equipment trading company in Dubai is looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the switchgear industry and a proven track record of selling low and medium voltage products. You will identify new business opportunities and maintain client relationships to drive revenue growth in the UAE. Immediate joiners preferred.

Job description

We are hiring a Sales & Business Development Manager with 3-5 years of experience in the switchgear industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling low and medium voltage switchgear products and components with a well-established network of clients including contractors, consultants, and MEP companies. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell switchgear products and solutions to clients in the construction, electrical, and industrial sectors
  • Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer relationships in the UAE
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals based on client requirements
  • Achieve sales targets through effective planning and execution of business development strategies
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and project developments in the region
  • Coordinate with the technical and operations team to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and meetings as needed
  • Submit regular reports on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development within the switchgear industry in Dubai (mandatory)
  • Strong technical knowledge of low/medium voltage switchgear products
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow client accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • UAE driving license preferred
  • Must be currently residing in Dubai
  • Immediate joiners or short notice periods are preferred
