Job description

PowernSun looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager with specific experience in batteries (inverters, lithium-ion, solar battery storage systems, etc.) to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of battery technologies, and a passion for renewable energy solutions. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and managing client relationships within the UAE market.

  • Drive sales of battery solutions related to solar energy projects in the UAE.

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets and grow customer base.

  • Identify and approach potential clients (B2B and B2C), installers, EPC contractors, and distributors.

  • Provide technical consultation and present tailored battery solutions to clients.

  • Prepare and present commercial offers, proposals, and contracts.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Keep updated with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in batteries and renewable energy.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report performance to senior management.

  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • 3–6 years of experience in battery sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector

  • Strong understanding of battery technologies – lithium-ion, lead-acid, solar storage systems, etc.

  • Proven track record in B2B or solution-based sales

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel across the UAE as needed

  • UAE driving license (preferred)

  • Based in Dubai
