Job summary

S&P Dow Jones Indices in Dubai is seeking a Sales Associate to support Client Coverage and Client Success teams across the full sales cycle. You’ll manage client interactions, identify opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance service and drive growth.

In this role you will maintain CRM records, assist with licensing and renewals, and help negotiate agreements. You’ll be office-based at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in supporting the full sales cycle and client interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to meet targets and drive results.
• In-person interview at nearest office before offer.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Coverage throughout the sales lifecycle by exchanging information with team members and stakeholders.
• Drive customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accounts through active listening.
• Respond to inquiries related to licensing, billing, renewals and client maintenance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product Management and Legal to improve sales processes and strategies.
• Oversee agreement drafting and negotiation with internal and external legal teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) of leads and client interactions.
• Identify and qualify potential leads through research and outreach; pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

The Team:

Our Inside Sales team at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) in Dubai is a collaborative group dedicated to building relationships and driving business growth with global strategic clients. As a Sales Associate youll play a vital role in supporting the full sales cycle managing interactions with clients and identifying new opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service enhance the sales process and contribute to the overall sales strategy while performing work effectively under general guidance.

You will make a significant impact by supporting our Client Coverage and Client Success teams while driving performance for the Inside Sales team. By taking accountability for individual and team targets you will help resolve varied and non-routine client issues. Your ability to interpret and clarify technical information will ensure our clients receive exceptional service directly contributing to our broader business objectives and living the S&P Global purpose and values.

• Driving customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accounts through active listening and seeking to understand client perspectives and concerns.
• Responding to inquiries related to licensing billing renewals and client maintenance prioritizing tasks based on their importance and urgency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as Finance Product Management and Legal) to enhance sales processes and strategies contributing to team initiatives to improve our business area.
• Overseeing agreement drafting and negotiation with internal and external legal teams.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records (Salesforce) of leads and client interactions for analysis and reporting.
• Identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and outreach proactively identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
  

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2 years of experience in supporting the full sales cycle managing interactions with clients and identifying new opportunities.
• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Marketing or related fields.
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to meet targets and performance metrics while taking accountability for your results.
• We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
