The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents. With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, the success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients business, developing the latest eCommerce and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Bank's product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Proactively driving cross-asset sales for all FIC products to MENA-based Institutional clients.
  2. Learning and managing lifecycle of a flow transaction i.e. closing deal, booking, completing pre and post deal related formalities.
  3. Partnering with FIC Trading and Structuring, as well as other Sales colleagues within the team and organization and within product to increase our market share with clients.
  4. Supporting the desk on active internal and sales initiatives.
  5. Supporting the onboarding of new client relationships / funds, working with Case Management, Credit, and Legal.

Your skills and experience:

  1. Extensive knowledge of the Fx, Rates, Commodities & Fixed Income market and developing skills in structured products.
  2. Focused on deliverables and willing to put in required sales effort to help desk grow the flow business.
  3. Good local market knowledge.
  4. A sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, could be beneficial for the largest sophisticated investors.
  5. Extensive knowledge of covering clients in the broadest sense preferably institutional.
  6. Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client.
  7. Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  8. Able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations.
  9. Advanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements.
  10. Driven and dedicated to help the team succeed.
  11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
