Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies for both the Contracting and Logistics/Freight Forwarding divisions across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
  • Manage a split schedule to efficiently prioritize operations and client interactions in both regions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy project and client pipeline by actively engaging with government entities, semi-government bodies, consultants, main contractors, and logistics partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across both divisions, including but not limited to:
    • Specialized materials (e.g. isolation/heat-resistant materials)
    • Infrastructure-related services
    • Marine support and general construction solutions
    • Material supply and procurement
    • Integrated logistics and freight forwarding services
  • Lead business development efforts across MEP services, logistics solutions, and freight operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments—including contracts, estimation, procurement, technical, and logistics teams—to develop and submit competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor positioning, and client feedback to refine growth strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure seamless execution and delivery of awarded projects and services across both divisions by coordinating with relevant internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director on business performance, market insights, and operational challenges.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets in both business verticals.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, business ethics, and client service across all business interactions.
Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development within contracting, logistics, or freight forwarding sectors in the UAE.
  • Proven track record of securing projects and managing business pipelines in construction and logistics.
  • Strong network of contacts in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including key clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of technical proposals, contractual processes, and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse locations and sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
