We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales & Business Development Executive for our OCTANORM sales division.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across exhibition organizers, stand builders, agencies, corporates, and interior contractors.
- Promote OCTANORM as stand-alone solutions or part of larger event/fit-out offerings.
- Prepare commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Apply systems engineering knowledge to recommend the best-fit modular configurations based on project requirements.
- Present technical information in a clear and simple way that highlights the benefits of modular systems and help clients understand how they work for best results.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Attend local trade shows to build brand presence and generate leads.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, marketing input, and new product/service introductions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering with specialization or hands-on experience in modular exhibition systems.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development within the exhibition, events, or interior fit-out industry.
- Proven knowledge and working experience with OCTANORM, Maxima, beMatrix, or similar modular systems
- Thorough knowledge of the dynamics of exhibitions, events, and interior solutions industries.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, system capabilities, and structural constraints.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation skills.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar visualization/drawing tools will be an added advantage.
