Job description

Job Purpose

• To plan, initiate, and conduct the sales process with customers.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Carry out sales in accordance with pre-agreed monthly targets and budgets.
  2. Prepare and maintain visit/call reports/logs, highlighting salient features, and advise the Manager accordingly.
  3. Report weekly/monthly on performance data, comparing actual results with targets and budgets.
  4. Maintain close contact with prospective customers, make sales calls, and visit them to accommodate their schedules. Introduce and follow up on suitable sales prospects.
  5. Maintain a customer database and contribute towards developing the prospects list. Stay informed about competitors in the automotive segment.
  6. Ensure pre-delivery inspections and proper documentation of sales transactions.
  7. Accurately complete and record details of all vehicle transactions, including payments, registration with the traffic department, and invoicing.
  8. Provide the highest level of customer service to maximize future sales and customer satisfaction, in line with company policies and procedures.
  9. Inform customers about available extras, accessories, and warranties.
  10. Notify customers of delays or changes in requirements to ensure smooth vehicle handovers.
  11. Participate in seasonal sales campaigns and promotions to maximize sales penetration.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Education/Certification: Degree in any discipline or automotive vocational training.
  2. Experience: 3–5 years of solid experience in fleet sales within the GCC market.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: Good knowledge of automobile sales, attention to detail, quality concern, dynamic and proactive personality.
