Job description

Job Purpose:

To plan, initiate, and conduct the sales process with customers visiting the showroom or during sales calls, contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve sales in accordance with pre-agreed monthly targets and budgets.
  2. Attend to customers visiting the showroom, initiate the sales process by understanding their needs, and offer qualified advice on product specifications.
  3. Maintain close contact with prospective customers, make sales calls and visits to suit their schedules, introduce and follow up on suitable sales prospects.
  4. Prepare and maintain visit/call reports/logs highlighting salient features and inform the Manager accordingly.
  5. Report weekly/monthly performance data, comparing actual results with targets and budgets.
  6. Maintain the customer database and contribute to the development of prospects list; stay informed about competitors in the car segment.
  7. Ensure pre-delivery inspections and proper documentation of sales transactions.
  8. Accurately complete and record all vehicle transaction details, including payment, registration with the traffic department, and invoicing.
  9. Provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, following company sales policies to maximize repeat and future sales.
  10. Inform customers about available extras, accessories, and warranties.
  11. Notify customers of delays or changes, ensuring smooth vehicle handover.
  12. Advise customers on vehicle finance and insurance options.
  13. Participate in seasonal sales campaigns and promotions to maximize sales penetration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in any discipline or automotive vocational training.
  • 3–5 years of solid experience in car sales.
  • Good knowledge of automobile sales through formal training or work experience.
  • Attention to detail and quality concern.
  • Dynamic and proactive personality.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Arabic.
