Safexpay is a fintech company focused on solving problems for businesses that need to accept online payments or make payouts to various stakeholders. Our products include PG services, Pay-outs, Neo-banking services, among others. We specialize in making our platform available to merchant acquirers such as banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and international clients, making us a leader in B2B2B white label payments. We are based in India, UAE, Sri Lanka, and Qatar, and we plan to expand into KSA, Egypt, and Nigeria.
We are looking to hire a Head of Payments / Business Development who will be responsible for selling white-label payment solutions to banks, fintechs, and merchants worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of key ecosystem partners with Safexpay and management of partnership initiatives.
- Ensure system changes keep pace with product development and maintain adequate controls.
- Assist in developing fintech partnerships, vendor empanelment, UAT activities on system changes with the client lead, partner, and team to identify opportunities for CLIENT.
- Client Relationships: Proactively identify, approach, and strengthen relationships with key executives, decision-makers, and influencers at the client.
- Origination: Develop senior client relationships from scratch.
- Meeting follow-up: Collaborate with key influencers and follow up on action items from client meetings.
- Pipeline development: Build and oversee a pipeline of business opportunities.
- Proposal development: Focus on CLIENT value proposition, key differentiators, and win themes; assist in developing commercial proposals.
Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have significant experience in Payments/Banking and established trusted client relationships within the industry. Prior relevant experience in leading business development is essential. The candidate should be a strong sales and relationship manager with proven skills in business development in banking and payments.
- Bachelor's Degree / Postgraduate or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in direct selling, consulting, or working within the banking industry.
- Leadership skills with excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills resulting in trustworthy business relationships with senior and C-suite executives.
- Proven ability to connect with people and top management.
- Comprehensive understanding of all stages of the opportunity and sales cycle for major accounts.
- Experience in managing projects, staff, and strategic initiatives.
Required Experience:
At least 6-10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in payments.
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, CA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
