A leading company in the consulting and management sector seeks a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications including NEBOSH IGC and have 3-5 years of experience in the construction or aluminium industry. This role involves developing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols across all relevant company sites, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Conduct regular site inspections and detailed risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable local (UAE) and international safety regulations and standards.
Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs, including toolbox talks, to employees at all levels, promoting a strong safety culture.
Thoroughly investigate incidents and accidents, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend effective corrective and preventative actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, permits, and incident logs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with site management and other departments to proactively address safety concerns and improve overall HSE performance.
Participate in safety audits and inspections, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or a closely related field.
NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is mandatory.
Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience in a construction or aluminium industry setting. Experience in multiple sectors within the Al Khalidiya Group portfolio is highly advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and reporting skills. Ability to effectively communicate safety information to diverse workforces.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
